Oh, the pressure. My son’s request to make “fun food” every Saturday night for dinner is already getting to me. How do people come up with all these ideas??? Well, however they do it, I’m just grateful they do. That way I can copy them and my kids think I’m amazing =o) Jill over at […]
The aliens are coming! The aliens are coming! I told you that I was going to make dinner time more fun and exciting. How fun is this idea?!?! My kids loved it! This idea came from the cookbook Just For Kids Collection. (If you missed my Octo-Dog post you MUST check it out here!) Here’s […]
My daughter’s pre-school class has been learning Japanese all year. It’s so cool to hear her speak and she is so proud when she comes home and tells me the new words she has learned. At the school’s Spring Fling Bar-B-Que her class sang “Jesus Loves Me” in Japanese! In Japanese!!! She’s 5 years old! […]
This was one of my first posts (and it’s a pretty poorly done one.) So I thought I would repost this. It’s one of my son’s favorite meals and he asks for it all the time. I’m not sure if he likes eating the hot dogs and noodles or if it’s just the way he […]
To continue our April Fools Day fun food extravaganza, we have a simple but fun one for you today – Peanut Butter Potstickers. They don’t totally look like potstickers, but my kids didn’t care. They loved them. And they were so simple to make. Thanks Party Pinching for this great idea. What you’ll need: * […]
Do they look like hot dogs? Of course they do. But are they? Well, sort of. They’re hot dogs, but not the kind you eat for lunch. You eat these hot dogs for dessert! I found the recipe for these over on The Seven Year Cottage. I changed it up just a little bit. They used […]
Magic banana? Yep, magic banana. Well, magic banana trick maybe. I guess the banana itself isn’t magic. Or maybe it is. Either way, your kids will think you are magic! Are you ready??? Your going to give your kids bananas and say “abracadabra” and then poof – their banana will be already sliced inside the […]
We have another fun and delicious Halloween treat for you today. Aren’t these little guys cute? I’m not sure what my favorite part of them is: the delicious white chocolate coating? Or the mouth watering Oreo Cream Cheese filling? Maybe it’s a tie. We found this recipe over on the The Recipe Critic PrintMummy Cookie […]

Wow! I am so hungry now…I’ll definitely have to try these!
Chocolate Overload brownies….let’s see. Very simple actually…I also use the box brownie mix, usually Duncan Hines dark chocolate. I add a little bit of chocolate pudding to the mix, and some semi-sweet chocolate chips. Mix it all into the batter, bake as directed. I usually pull mine out a bit early to keep them soft…..then when they cool, I add chocolate frosting! My kids love them!
oh my…these sound amazing! I am gonna try the reeses version. Thanks so much for linking to my recipe hop.

Hi, I’m new to your blog, I saw this post on Sweets for a Saturday and wanted to say hi! S’mores are one of my favorite summer treats, though I may be trying to make these soon to get myself out of a winter funk! Nothing perks me up like chocolate, graham cracker and marshmallow!
If this is a Picky Palate recipe, then I know it must be one indulgent treat. I love s’mores and the brownies look fantastic. Thanks for linking this up to Sweets for a Saturday.
