Cinnamon Roll Bites with Maple Frosting

I’m in love. Yep. You read that right. I’m in love! With these!

Holy smokes. That’s about all I can even say about these delicious bites of pure yumminess!

What you will need:

  • cinnamon rolls in a can
  • oil (to deep fry)

Open the can of cinnamon rolls.
Cut them into quarters.

Heat oil to 370 degrees.
Cook cinnamon roll bites in oil for about 34 seconds on each side.

Place onto paper towels.

For the maple frosting (from here)

  • 1 1/2 Tbls. maple flavoring
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 Tbls. butter, softened
  • 3/4 Tbls. hot water

Whip up all the ingredients.

Drizzle (or pour if you live in our house) over warm cinnamon roll bites.

Now eat up and enjoy!

I thought I had quite a few more but when I came back downstairs, this is what I found…

Best things ever!!!!!

  13. Barb Brown says:

My mom used to do this with canned biscuits. After deep frying them, she would toss them in a brown bag that contained a cinnamon/sugar mixture and shake them up to coat the biscuit. We called them doughnut holes. YUM!!
