This has got to be one of my absolute, most favorite desserts of all time. It’s amazing! Not too sweet and completely satisfying! This is also one of my Dad’s favorites! I made this for him a couple of years ago for Christmas and it quickly went on his wish list for Christmas, his birthday and Father’s Day. And how could it be wrong? It’s from Paula Dean!
I’ll tell you now that it’s definitely not a low fat recipe. Maybe that’s why it tastes so fantastic?!?!
From Paula Dean
* 1 tsp. vanilla
* 1/2 tsp. baking soda
* 6 large eggs
* 3 cups flour
* 1 cup sour cream
* 3 cups sugar
* 2 sticks butter
Preheat over to 325 degrees.
Cream together butter and sugar. Add sour cream and mix.
Sift baking soda and flour. (Like I ever do this. Not!)
Alternately add flour mixture and eggs (beating well after each addition).
Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan.
Cool for about 20 minutes and then remove from pan.
