My son wanted a Nerf birthday party. Do you know how hard it is to find Nerf party things out there??? It’s darn near impossible. Tiffanee over at One Crazy Cookie made our Nerf Birthday Party Invitations which were a giant hit! I don’t know how she does it but she is a computer […]
I mentioned in my last post for our Faux Deviled Eggs that I love April Fools Day and all the fun food ideas. Well, here’s another super cute idea. How about making a Chicken Not Pie for dinner for your kids. Did you catch that? Chicken Not Pie. I know, clever right? (Or were you […]
I have a little thing about vampires. I was about to write “I’m embarrassed to say” but I’m not. What the heck. I’m obsessed. I said it. Seriously, I am. It all started with the Twilight books and has gone a little out of control since. =o) If you need to know a good book […]
I’ve decided that I’m a little bored with cooking. I make the same basic things for dinners and I’m getting tired of it. Dinner should be fun, right? So that’s our new theme for the summer. Fun food! So we bought a couple of fun kid’s cookbooks. This is the first thing we made – […]
Normally when I look at Sue’s blog I sit back and think “Man, why can’t I do that?!” She is amazing and so talented when it comes to baking and decorating the cutest cookies ever. Then I saw this post and thought “holy smokes, I can do that!” I was so excited! I’m always looking […]
My daughter saw these wonderful looking treats in her Fancy Nancy Tea Parties book. (Did I mention we LOVE Fancy Nancy?!) Her books are stupendous (that’s fancy for great!) I did an earlier post from this book as well. Click here to see it. So Ellie saw these and said to me “oh, let’s make […]
Halloween means fun food, right? At least in our house it does. I have to spice it up a little for my kids. So how could I not make these bloody band aide cookies??!! I saw these over on Pinterest (who got them from Katherine Marie Photography.) Do you pin? If not, you are so […]
So what do you think? Have we been doing it up, Thanksgiving style? (Maybe not if you’re a grown up. But we don’t really have one of those in our house.) =o) But my kids have loved all the fun treats we’ve made so far. We tried our first Turkey Cookie. Then we sugar-ed it […]

I used to put notes in my kids’ lunch boxes too; one year I forgot to put one in my daughter’s for her birthday (bad mom), and I never heard the end of it…lol I felt so bad. I wish I had seen these print outs when they were young. I might have to print some out and put them in my teens lunch boxes just for a kick:)
