Our last Halloween post for the season (sniff, sniff) is a simple but fun one – Mummy Pretzels! Cute, right?!?! We found two different versions on the internet, here and here – both adorable. The girls loved making them. I’m pretty sure they ate about 20 eyes a piece before I realized where they all went. […]
Do they look like hot dogs? Of course they do. But are they? Well, sort of. They’re hot dogs, but not the kind you eat for lunch. You eat these hot dogs for dessert! I found the recipe for these over on The Seven Year Cottage. I changed it up just a little bit. They used […]
Normally when I look at Sue’s blog I sit back and think “Man, why can’t I do that?!” She is amazing and so talented when it comes to baking and decorating the cutest cookies ever. Then I saw this post and thought “holy smokes, I can do that!” I was so excited! I’m always looking […]
Meatloaf and mashed potatoes are comfort food to me. I love them! My kids love them! And I love that my kids love them! But I wanted to kid it up a little. (We eat meatloaf a lot.) So I made my regular meatloaf. It’s nothing uber fancy. I buy the spice packet at the […]
We’re taking a little break from all of our holiday desserts to bring you a dinner idea. Crazy, right? Not so much if you know me. I just love making fun foods for my kids and with Easter coming up, I thought these Sloppy Joe Baskets would be fun to serve for dinner. They look […]
I’m not much of a prankster. It’s not that I don’t think they’re funny. I just don’t do them. Well, not a lot at least =o) So for me, April Fools Day isn’t really a big deal. But it’s like I said in my St. Patrick’s Day post, “now that I’m a Mom I have […]
For Halloween do you do silly fun or gory? We always do silly fun but I do like a little bit of the gross. So when I saw these cupcakes over on Pinterest (my new love) from Cakehead Loves Evil I knew we had to make them. Totally cool, right?!?! We made stained glass candy […]
To continue our April Fools Day fun food extravaganza, we have a simple but fun one for you today – Peanut Butter Potstickers. They don’t totally look like potstickers, but my kids didn’t care. They loved them. And they were so simple to make. Thanks Party Pinching for this great idea. What you’ll need: * […]

I’ve wanted to try the pepperoncinni eggs ever since you posted about them, but pepperoncinni juice usually gets put in a pot-roast around here so it’s hard to come by. 😉
Growing up, we lived in an amish community and beet pickled eggs were really popular there!
I love pickled beets. I can’t get them here in Greece. They are just beets preserved in water here. YUMMY eggs!
I know my husband would like this. Thank you for sharing.
We just love pickled beets and would really enjoy this combination. Hope you have a great week end and thank you so much for sharing with Full Plate Thursday.
Come Back Soon!
Miz Helen
My dad makes these every week… I never knew how easy it is!
