A Lego Birthday Party Extravaganza

We sent out the Lego Invitations

And made the Lego goody bags

We made our Lego Cookies

And now we’re ready to party!

We are fortunate enough to be able to have parties and craft days at my work (which we love).  Lots of running around (and lots of noise) and it’s not in my house.  Yeah!

The decorations were simple.   I printed out these great Lego guys here and taped them onto cardstock.

The table of food was simple but fun.

Do you see the Lego box we made and filled with M&Ms?

I made these cute Lego men to top the cupcakes.  Simple and fun!

The juice boxes matched our invitations and party bags.

The kids had a blast playing Pin the head on the Ninjago guy =o)  (Yes, I made him green which I was told was the wrong color.  But they didn’t seem to mind after the party started.)

I loved this idea for a game (I’m sorry I can’t remember where I found it) and of course we had to do it.  The kids were hysterical.  I’m not sure what to call it so we called it The Lego Suck.  The kids had 2 plates.  One plate had Legos on it and they had to pick up the Legos and put them on the other plate using only a straw.

We played Lego Bingo.  Kids love Bingo!  You can print out the bingo cards here.

I think their favorite part was the Nerf Gun War =o)  In an empty middle school!

All in all I think the kids had a great time.  My son’s birthday always lands on the last day of school (or close to) which is my busiest time of year.  I wish I had more time to prepare but heck, they’re 9.

I’m linking to the parties on my sidebar.
