Copycat Cadbury Creme Eggs

Copycat Cadbury Creme Eggs

We seem to be on a little Cadbury Creme Egg roll here.  Apparently our Copycat Cadbury Creme Egg Brownies didn’t completely satisfy that sweet tooth.

These were so easy to make (and so worth it.)   We used the same creme filling recipe we used for our Copycat Cadbury Creme Egg Brownies.  Don’t they look…. well, they didn’t really turn out like they were supposed to.  I think I didn’t get the chocolate warm enough when I covered the bottoms.  And, as a result, the filling kind of swirled with the chocolate.  Ugh.  I hate when I do that.  See?  Kinda not perfect looking.

But, on the positive side, they tasted delicious!  So we’re going to go with that.  And look at the inside!

So… maybe not so great on the outside, but definitely a winner in the taste department.

  1. I think my waist prevents me from trying this recipe. The swirl looks pretty, don’t get down about it1

  2. I think they look fine for a home project, seriously. Nothing I make creatively turns out the way it is suppose to and I use to get annoyed by the fact. Still nothing turns out the way I picture them, although, I think about the wasted positivity I could have been installing in my children and remember they may not be perfect but they are made by me. My love for whomever I am making, whatever it may be, makes it perfectly imperfect. By the way they look delicious and the taste is what really matters.

I think they look perfect on the outside! I can’t rememer when I last had a “real” cream egg.

I have to admit I do love a Cadbury Creme Egg once in a while. These are perfect for an Easter gift too so I am going to be making them for sure. Thanks for sharing.
