Give Your Kids Some Lunchbox Love (and a Giveaway)

Lunchbox Love Lunch box Notes

It’s been forever since we’ve had a giveaway so I’m super excited to bring you this one.  Not just because it’s a giveaway (BTW, I love giveaways!) but because it’s a super cool giveaway!

Lunchbox Love sent me a half year supply of lunchbox notes (volumes 81 – 88) to try out.  A half of a year!  That’s a ton of lunch box notes!  They have different packs for every season and reason.  There are jokes, inspirational sayings, notes for every holiday and so much more.  But the best part?  On one side there is a joke or saying.  On the other side there is a fun fact.  I love that!

  1. I like putting notes in because it reminds them that I love them. As I kid, I had bad days, but a note from mom in my lunch really helped me reset my day and turn it around to end a much better note.

  2. I love putting notes in my daughter’s lunch box because it brightens her day and reminds her that she is loved.

Because they get so excited and it makes their day!

  4. Everyday I put notes in my children’s lunches because I can just imagine their sweet little smiles on their faces while they are reading them. Mostly they are from me, but sometimes even the cat and fish leave a note. Oh, and what a treat when DADDY leaves a note. They love it. I didn’t write a note for a few days and my son said, Mom, I miss your notes! LOVE!

  5. I also left a comment on your Killer Frosted Brownie recipe, because, well, frosted brownies are the BEST! I am making them this weekend!

  6. My son loves little notes in his lunch box, it let’s him know mommy is always thinking about him.

  7. What a great idea I can just imagine all the kids on the same table looking forward to sharing the fun each day.

  8. Kimberly Yue says:

My daughter HAS to bring lunch everyday due to food allergies–we have no choice about that. I’ve been tucking notes into her lunch sporadically for the past 5 years. Last year, she had a difficult teacher –she constantly yelled at the class and my sensitive kid did not do well with that. (Dealing with that situation is another LONG story…). Imagine our dismay to learn the reorganized the school and she has the same teacher AGAIN this year (no she can’t switch out–G&T class and she’s the only teacher, fortunately she seems to be behaving herself so far this year). I send her notes to keep her spirits up, let her know I’m thinking of her and that there’s fun waiting for her when she gets home.

  9. They are adorable and just enough not to embarrass them when that “someone” sees it and wants to make a crack. It is a way of asserting that special way you feel for them

  10. I like my boys to know that I am thinking about them… even when they can’t see me. 🙂

  11. This looks like a lot of fun for my kids. Thanks for the chance to enter.

  17. I actually haven’t done it yet, so I think it would be really fun to surprise them

  18. My kids just recently started taking their lunch to school. I love letting them know that I have there back, there for them and love them even if we aren’t together. To give them an inspirational thought or saying when the are going thru a tough period. Just lets them know I’m thinking about them.

  25. I’ve been putting notes in my sons lunch box since he’s been a baby. It reminds me of my childhood. How my mom would put notes in my lunchbox. I know the notes always made me feel special and that someone cares even when having a hard day! The notes is a reminder that we are thinking about them even when we are apart! My son enjoys the notes in his lunchbox and I enjoy putting them in there. 🙂 thanks

  26. I’m a teacher and often see how one small disruption in the day can make a child sad. When my kids open their lunchboxes and see a note, I hope they remember how very much they are loved, and that it helps to soothe whatever sad things might have happened in their day.
