Yep, we heart s’mores! All kinds of s’mores. We love S’more cookies, s’more stuffed brownies, delicious dough boys stuffed with s’more mixings, and s’more brownie pie!
Then I saw these s’more bars over on this site and I knew they were going to be my dinner – I mean dessert.
Ingredients
* 1/4 cup butter
* 10 ounce bag of marshamllows
* 4 cups crushed graham crackers
* milk chocolate for dipping
Melt the butter in the microwave. Add marshmallows and melt. Add crushed graham crackers and stir. It kind of looks like dog food but they sure taste yummy!
Get a helper to help crush the graham crackers =o) Note: don’t crush the graham crackers into dust. Do a combination of crumbs and larger pieces (about the size of a dime.) If it’s all dust crumbs it turns out kind of hard. (We did that on our second batch and it wasn’t as good.)
You can either press into a 9 x 13 greased pan or into silicone molds. I thought my kids would love heart shaped treats.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave or in a double boiler. Pop out of the mold and dip them in chocolate.
I like the heart ones the best. Don’t get me wrong – I ate them all =o)
