This is my attempt at making a Thanksgiving cookie. I was planning on making all kinds of cute little turkey cookies but instead I decided to throw myself down the stairs and mess up my ankle. I know. Turkey cookies or the emergency room? Is it a tough choice? Apparently it was for me. I […]
My daughter’s pre-school class has been learning Japanese all year. It’s so cool to hear her speak and she is so proud when she comes home and tells me the new words she has learned. At the school’s Spring Fling Bar-B-Que her class sang “Jesus Loves Me” in Japanese! In Japanese!!! She’s 5 years old! […]
I remember making this years and years ago for a friend’s children. It was pretty cool (I thought) so my kids and I thought we would make it again for some friends. It’s super easy and it’s fun to do! What you will need: * any kind of clear bowl. We used a fish bowl […]
Here is an easy and fun treat for the kids. They didn’t turn out as cool as I had hoped. I think it was because there was so many bubbles in our 7 Up. But the kids didn’t seem to mind. PrintGummy Bear Popsicles Ingredients7 Up Gummy BearsInstructionsLet your 7 Up sit out for […]

I pinned this recipe quite some time ago and put it into my “Fun Food Ideas” board. I mean, seriously, of course I was going to make it. They are adorable! And with the movie Turbo coming out, I figured it was the perfect time to surprise my kids. My son wants to see Turbo badly. […]
For Halloween do you do silly fun or gory? We always do silly fun but I do like a little bit of the gross. So when I saw these cupcakes over on Pinterest (my new love) from Cakehead Loves Evil I knew we had to make them. Totally cool, right?!?! We made stained glass candy […]
This may not look like much but let me tell you… it is delicious! My kids and I love root beer floats and have seen a lot of homemade popsicles out there that claim to be rootbeer floats, but they are imposters. Thanks to Almost Unschoolers for this amazing find because here is a real […]

Thank you so much for mentioning me! I am so glad your kids had a nice time! The last part made me teary eyed, because I feel exactly the same way!
I saw this on Pinterest and loved it, but haven’t done it for my kids yet. You have motivated me to get out there and get those glow sticks. I wonder how it looks with bubbles too? An idea for next Halloween: How cute would it be to come in after a long night of trick or treating to find a tub full of orange glow sticks??

I actually did this Sunday night with BFF’s little ones, 4 and 20 months, while I was bsitting them- in a bubble bath and they loved it. They had tried it once minus the bubbles, but since the 4 yr old was shy, we added the bubbles for modesty. It was a blast for them!
Found you via link party.
