Have you ever tried alligator? Yes, you read that right – alligator. Have you tried it? Don’t judge. And I apologize to all of the people out there who think that’s appalling eating a creature that’s so…. what? Wonderful? No, that’s not it. Weird? Maybe that’s it. =o) But in my defense… it’s delicious!!!
A local restaurant here in this small town I live in serves it on occasion. I’m glad we got it. Could I get my kids to try it, though? That’s a big no way. They turned their noses up and gave me the weirdest look. Their loss, my gain. =o)

You make it look very delicious! Im a little scared to try it though, but after this post I may have to though!!
Mmmm! We had this when we were in New Orleans and it was so yummy.
My husband and I had fried alligator when we were on a trip to Houston. It was so heavily breaded that we couldn’t really tell what the alligator actually tasted like.
Fried Alligator is the only thing I can eat at Razzoo’s as I am highly allergic to fish. It is very yummy. Taste like chicken.
Wow, good for you for trying something so exotic. Where ever did you find it on the menu? I may have to go try it myself. Did it taste like chicken…LOL.
Anything coated and deep fried sounds good to me:) Lol!

I grew up in New Orleans where you could regularly find alligator on menus – your meal looks scrumptious to me!
There’s a Chinese restaurant here that serves it stir-fried with vegetables. It doesn’t have much flavor on its own, but the texture is very nice. Almost reminds me of lobster!
I am weird, I won’t eat lamb, duck, goose, veal etc, but I love love love alligator. LOL
