Do you have a picky little eater at home? Or maybe not a picky one, but one who does a better job when you serve their food in a fun and bite-sized way? I sure did! My kids have always loved “fun” food so I’ve always purchased the sandwich cutters at the store to make lunches a little more exciting. But with the cheap, flimsy plastic cutters, they chip easily and then they don’t cut well. Ugh. I hate that!
Then I found FunBites. How cool are these? FunBites was generous enough to send me their Luv It cutter. I was so excited to start cutting food =o)
They are fun cutters that you can use on most anything from pancakes to sandwiches to cheeses and meats. Cool, right?
They also have a Cube It cutter that would be a ton of fun too.
Look at the amazing things you could do.
My kids would have loved this when they were little! Heck, they love it now!
I asked my friend Jennifer to help me out with this one. She has a little guy (3) so I thought he would be the perfect test subject.
French toast worked perfectly in the cutter. And max loved eating it!
FunBites are made in the US. The idea started with a picky eater and a Mom who wanted to try something new. Something that would bet her little picky eater to eat (and her to not have to cut fun shapes out of all the food.) With FunBites you just position it on the food and push. It does the cutting for you!
FunBites has offered to give one of my amazing readers a FunBites cutter as well. Interested? Just enter on the Rafflecopter below!
Giveaway open to US and Canadian residents. Good luck!
This is SO cool! I am a fan of making food into faces and shapes, but with 4 picky kids it takes way too long sometimes! What an awesome find! Thanks 🙂
Meatballs, kids love meatballs
These look really cool… maybe my kids would actually eat a sandwich if I used these!
my kids would love this!!
Yes, I have a King of Picky Eaters at home! I have the cutter to cut the crust off everything, and the sealer to seal the edges. But that is getting boring to him now….these would help liven things up a little bit, ha!
I have a 6 year old. Cutting her sandwich into a heart shape seems to rock her world so I bet these would be hit!
I hide foods they don’t like to eat in sauces and under the cheese in pizza.
I usually try to keep certain foods hidden inside, like puree veggies and put it into things. Or decorate the food in a fun pattern so it makes it more interesting for my son to eat.
I make smoothies and hide lots of veggies in them.
I definately have picky eaters….I hide healthy food inside certain meals, I (try) to cut food into various shapes and I lay food out on a plate in the shape of silly faces.
My son is a very healthy eater. (loves his vegetables and whole grains.) My daughter however, is not so much. I usually hide healthy food in her meals, but she is starting to catch on. I would love these! I think she would love them! Thanks for the giveaway!
I would love these. I have three very picky children!!!
i have a picky nephew
I have a 2,4 and 5 year old that these would be perfect for!
The best tip I have for picky eaters is to have them help you make the food. If my kids help me make the meal, they always do better with eating. LOL
Not in my immediate house but I have helped a lady work with her children on eating more food. I am a big fan of make food fun to eat. Also hands and clothing are washable so lets eat with our hands as much as possible. I like the fishing game where they use some sort of edible stick like a pretzel or carrot but so many things can be sticks and then they fish if they are to picky make them fish in a cup so they can’t see what is in the cup and mix something they don’t like with something they do and they must eat everything on the stick before they can fish again. so they have to eat both at the same time
We do lots of blended drinks like Avocado Milkshakes (Avocado/Milk), Smoothies with all fruits and sometimes throw in some veggies.
I’m not sure if I would say my daughter is a picky eater, just that she doesn’t like to eat the same thing twice in a row and we have to get creative with left overs!
My stepdaughter is very picky and the funbites might actually get her to eat a sandwich lol
My sons would LOVE this!

Cutting food up into little pieces worked for my kid! And this tool would make it very easy – one press instead of using a knife sounds great to me.
My nephew would love these 🙂 Cutting veggies into cute shapes usually works like a charm ^_^
My daughter would love these. I think the square one would cut the perfect size food for my 9 month old.
My 2-year-old daughter is a picky eater. One thing that helps is I put food in divided plates. She actually gets upset if one of the “holes” is empty. This helps me to put a variety of foods on her plate including some I want her to try.
my daughter would love these,my daughter is a picky eater.i have to hide food in food that she likes.when she eats luch meat she likes it warm and not cold, (nicole j)@lovablegrl28@yahoo.com)
I wish the things I did would work for my 9 year old. I’ve tried the purees, hiding foods in other foods, etc. She’s stubborn!
No she eats really good for me but her fav. is my mom’s homemade veggie soup
The possiblities with these are endless! Hope I win so we’ll have fun~er food 🙂
No picky eaters yet. I love toast presses to make breakfast a little more fun. These look great! Thanks.
Sometimes. Fun shapes do help some.
no picky eaters here, but i still like to make funny shapes with the food lol
These cutters will also work for special occasions. So cute and fun!
My goddaughter would love it!
My daughter is a little picky when it comes to eating. So usually i like to make smoothies to add some veggies
We DO have a picky eater. One thing that works for us is using broken bars, such as the All Bran bars, esp. when they have been broken in the pkg. then put them on a plate as little bites and I add a thin layer of NUTELLA to get the kids to eat up – They LOVE them. abrennan09@hotmail.com
my daughter is picky so i let her choose the veggies for dinner and from the store. i find that if she picks them out then she’s more likely to eat them. thanks crystal allen, clallen at ntin dot net
We puree vegetables and sneak them into our kids’ food.
Both of my kids are picky, especially my oldest. I love to have my kids help me cook and grow the vegetables and fruit in our garden. They are much more interested in eating it if they have had a hand in preparing it.
This might actually get my grand daughter to eat. She is super picky but the fun shapes just might entice her. 🙂
I have a picky eater and unfortunately nothing works! He does love his yogurt, jam, fruits, cheese, and milk. I hope it is just a stage!
My picky eater loves fruit, so I try to add fruit to every meal so she can have a bite of fruit with a bite of veggie.
I do not have a picky eater, not yet.
