Summer kind of snuck up on us this year. I normally have a big list of things to do with my kids that are free or super inexpensive. (Because I like free and super inexpensive.) So I’m sorry this is late this year. But this is a good one.
Do you and your kids like going to the movies? We do. But I hate paying a fortune for them! It’s ridiculous!
A couple of years ago I found out about The Summer Movie Express Program through Regal Cinemas. Now we go to the movies a ton during the summer.
What is the Summer Movie Express? You can go here to find out more but in a nutshell, movies are $1 on Tuesdays and Wednesday for a 10am showing. There is a G movie or a PG movie to chose from and the choices vary by area.

Bummer, no participating theaters in Michigan. We have something similar only they charge $3.50 for adults and kids over 12, but kids younger than that are free. It’s usually spring and late summer, so right now it’s over for the time being. Thanks for the info though, maybe someone else lives where it’s active.
