I had all these grand plans to do great things this Easter. Some of them got done but a lot of them are still in my “to do” pile. Crud. At 6am when I was getting ready to pack my kid’s lunch for school I remembered I wanted to pack their lunch a little differently. […]
Oh, the pressure. My son’s request to make “fun food” every Saturday night for dinner is already getting to me. How do people come up with all these ideas??? Well, however they do it, I’m just grateful they do. That way I can copy them and my kids think I’m amazing =o) Jill over at […]
For Halloween do you do silly fun or gory? We always do silly fun but I do like a little bit of the gross. So when I saw these cupcakes over on Pinterest (my new love) from Cakehead Loves Evil I knew we had to make them. Totally cool, right?!?! We made stained glass candy […]
Do your kids watch iCarly on Nickelodeon? My kids love it. One of the things that Spencer (one of the characters) makes is spaghetti tacos. My kids have been asking me to make them for some time but I just never did. They didn’t sound all that appetizing to me. Spaghetti in a taco shell? […]

Did you read the title and think “what the heck?” If you did, you’re not alone. When I first heard of roasting Starburst candies over the campfire I was pretty skeptical. We drink plain white milk in our family. The kids like to get chocolate milk on road trips though. 🙂

I was a bit surprised to learn that Regardless of whether you choose skim, 1%, 2% or whole milk, the calcium and nutrient content is the same.
I try to push the plain milk, but chocolate is he favorite around here!
I didn’t realize that you can ultra pasteurize milk!
My kid like regular and chocolate
Shelf safe milk is Grade A fluid milk that requires no refrigeration until the package is opened
My kids drink fat-free, plain milk, but every once in a while, I mix up some chocolate milk for them.
