I know today is November 1st and Breast Cancer Awareness month was October but I just had to share this one with you. Plus today is “Wear Pink” day at my school. So, of course I had to bring cookies to help celebrate! And not just any cookies… Mammo-graham cookies. Ha! Get it?! Mammo – […]
I saw this “recipe” in the Family Fun magazine while at the Doctor’s office and thought I’d give it a try. Anything to make dinner time fun, right? My kids LOVED it! And it was easy to make. I took hot dogs and cut them into 4 pieces. Then I took raw spaghetti noodles and […]
Are these the cutest cookies EVER?!?! Not to toot my own horn. Don’t get me wrong. I didn’t invent this recipe. I just stole it =o) But how could I NOT steal it, right?!?! After I saw this cookie on Raina’s blog The Garden of Yum I knew this was the next cookie I was […]
I haven’t done a single thing for the 4th of July =o( Where have I been??? We typically don’t do much for the 4th, though. It’s always been one of those holidays where I’m frustrated because of all the loud noises that keep waking my kids up! Does that make me grouchy? =o( But a […]
I have a confession to make. You know those little recipe books that you always see in the check out stand? They are usually themed – Halloween, Christmas, cookies, crockpot recipes. You know the ones. I am addicted to them. Yep, I said it out loud. I love them. I love looking through them and […]
Did you read the title and think “what the heck?” If you did, you’re not alone. When I first heard of roasting Starburst candies over the campfire I was pretty skeptical. Number one, there’s no chocolate so that usually rules me out. And number two, what the heck? How would that even work??? But when […]
I know. Don’t judge me. You’re thinking “that’s totally gross!” But admit it… you’re next thought is “but totally cool!” Right? Come on, admit it. These cookies are totally gross and totally cool at the same time. That’s why we had to make them. A friend on Facebook posted this link on my wall […]
I had all these grand plans to do great things this Easter. Some of them got done but a lot of them are still in my “to do” pile. Crud. At 6am when I was getting ready to pack my kid’s lunch for school I remembered I wanted to pack their lunch a little differently. […]

Those are cool! I’d eat all the candy… 🙂
These are really cute. In my house they would be empty really fast.
i need to make one of those for myself. they look like it would be hard for me to put my grown up fingers in them. that would keep me from eating too much which i have a problem with.
What a cute idea! Love the colors…nice and bright and oh so spring like!
KC
what a great idea…like the bright colors!
These are adorable! I would love to have on of these sitting on my desk at work. I am the candy lady, everyone knows I always have candy. I like how it is easy enough to make that my daughter could make them also. Thanks for sharing.
how cute, I like this
Lovely. Nice and simple project to make with the kids.
I love it. It still would not keep me from devouring the candy 🙂
What a fun idea–and they’re so cute!
What a cute idea! I love the colors, too!
What a great idea! We used to have chickens, so I have a couple of these and have wondered what to do with them! Now I know!
Thank you for linking this great idea at the In and Out of the Kitchen LInk Party. Can’t wait to see what you bring next week!

Bird feeders! I would have never guessed. I definitely like that they come in very spring-like colors! This is a clever idea because it really makes sure to remind you of portion control when reaching in for a piece of candy! haha. And leaving them on a desk is a wonderful idea! I’m sure it’ll make any desk a popular hangout! Thanks for sharing this awesome idea!
Thanks for linking to Take-A-Look Tuesday over at Sugar Bee Crafts – you were featured yesterday!

Chicken Feeder candy holders…ah memories. I’ve never seen them painted like that before though. I love the bright colors.
I’d love if you shared these at my Show & Tell party this week. http://www.gingerlymade.com/2013/04/show-tell-20.html
These are really clever/unique!
It would be a great project to do with the grand kids.
Creative item for candy! Never seen this done before.
That is so cute and creative and any kid or adult would love this 🙂
Very cute! Would be great on my desk at work…although they make snacks so accessible that I might never stop snacking!
This is a great idea and a fun craft to do with your chidlren
Now that is a great idea! I have a lot of kids and there is plenty of room for lots of hands. I will have to check some out at the store.
