Did you read the title and think “what the heck?” If you did, you’re not alone. When I first heard of roasting Starburst candies over the campfire I was pretty skeptical. Number one, there’s no chocolate so that usually rules me out. And number two, what the heck? How would that even work??? But when […]
Our last Halloween post for the season (sniff, sniff) is a simple but fun one – Mummy Pretzels! Cute, right?!?! We found two different versions on the internet, here and here – both adorable. The girls loved making them. I’m pretty sure they ate about 20 eyes a piece before I realized where they all went. […]
I love that I found these over on Mom Endeavors. I knew immediately that this was a Halloween snack we had to make. Super easy which means little helpers can do this one all on their own! What you’ll need: * stick pretzels * white melting chocolate * raisins * milk chocolate melting chocolate Arrange […]
Do they look like hot dogs? Of course they do. But are they? Well, sort of. They’re hot dogs, but not the kind you eat for lunch. You eat these hot dogs for dessert! I found the recipe for these over on The Seven Year Cottage. I changed it up just a little bit. They used […]
To continue our April Fools Day fun food extravaganza, we have a simple but fun one for you today – Peanut Butter Potstickers. They don’t totally look like potstickers, but my kids didn’t care. They loved them. And they were so simple to make. Thanks Party Pinching for this great idea. What you’ll need: * […]
I’m not even sure I can type this post. I’m laughing too hard. ‘Cause seriously… this meal cracked me up. But even more hysterical than these totally adorable weenie men (that I found over on Casa de Luna) is the conversation that I had with my son. Are you ready for this??? My son: […]
This is my attempt at making a Thanksgiving cookie. I was planning on making all kinds of cute little turkey cookies but instead I decided to throw myself down the stairs and mess up my ankle. I know. Turkey cookies or the emergency room? Is it a tough choice? Apparently it was for me. I […]
I saw this “recipe” in the Family Fun magazine while at the Doctor’s office and thought I’d give it a try. Anything to make dinner time fun, right? My kids LOVED it! And it was easy to make. I took hot dogs and cut them into 4 pieces. Then I took raw spaghetti noodles and […]

Too cute!
I think I would try to make chocolate mustaches somehow. Either filling the cutter with melted chocolate. Or maybe melting some chocolate, spreading on a cookie sheets, then cutting out the mustaches when it sets a bit?
I make cookies, but not often. If I had these awesome cookie cutters, I would definitely make them more! I love mustache stuff!
It would be so much fun to make these! I can just see my son sporting one of them before he munched away on it.

I love making cut out cookies! When I make the batter I usually match the amount of vanilla extract and put in an equal amount of almond extract. My dad is always bugging me when I’m going to make these cookies next. Sometimes he will even buy me some almond extract and bring to my house to make sure that I never run out!
Yes, I make cookies
