Our town Drive In needs your help! Yep, we have a Drive In. It’s one of the last few in Oregon and we love it! It’s been here for years and we’d love it to stay here for years longer. But sadly, the movie industry has changed and the projector that they have will no longer be able to play the movies anymore. To buy a new projector it will cost them $75,000 (holy heck) so we’re trying to win one for the Newberg Drive In.
Who doesn’t have memories of going to the drive in? Sitting in your car with all your friends, eating pop corn and staying up late. One of my first drive in movies I saw was Rocky (the first one. Yep, I’m that old.) And I went with my Dad. It was so much fun! I’d like my kids to have memories of drive in movies!
