It’s that time again. The first Monday of the month which means is time for the Secret Recipe Club reveal. I love this day. It’s a day when a group of bloggers post a recipe from a “secret” blog that they’ve been assigned. It’s a great opportunity to find new blogs (or re-visit old favorites) and make a new recipe. I love it.
My secret blog this month was Daily Dish Recipes. Nicole is the author of this amazing blog. She is a writer, blogger and photography junkie and she’s a mother of 5. FIVE! I have two and I’m exhausted. How does she do all of that with five?!?! I’m super impressed because her recipes look delicious!
When I went through Nicole’s recipe index of course I went right to the dessert section. (Duh!) My eyes went straight to the Dark Chocolate Madeleines but this was a Secret Recipe post (which is off limits.) Drats. So I continued to look and saw her recipe for Texas Sheet Cake (yum!) and Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie. Oh man. Yum to everything. I’ve been trying to eat a little better lately so I wanted to check out Nicole’s recipes for non-sweets (AKA dinner.) I immediately fell in love with her Cheesy Cheese Chicken Casserole Recipe. Talk about comfort food!
I have been looking for the ultimate Macaroni and Cheese recipe. I love Mac and Cheese but it has to be creamy and saucy and oh, so delicious. So when I saw her Super Creamy Macaroni and Cheese recipe, I knew I had to give it a try.
I love how cheesy this recipe is! Definitely a good one and one I’ll make again. Look at all the cheese!

Nothing better than a creamy cheesy mac ‘n cheese! What a yummy pick this month!
Oh wow Erin … that is super creamy and I just can’t stop looking at all that cheese 😉
Great pick for SRC.
Yum yum yum! Erin, I can always count on you to pick the best recipes to share on your blog! Hope I’ll get assigned yours again sometime soon. Your Snickerdoodles are the one cookie recipe that my husband says rivals his family’s chocolate chip cookie recipe. I’ve made the pop tart cookies multiple times as well, people love them. My favorite combo is blueberry pop tarts with lemon extract added, it tastes like cheesecake cookies.
Best comment ever! Thank you so much. Blueberry pop tarts with lemon? Holy smokes. I think I have some blueberry pop tarts in the cupboard. Sounds amazing!
Wow, that photo is the definition of creamy indeed!
I can almost taste it… super decadent and amazing choice for you first assignment of the year….
Nice to “meet” you… it’s my first time with Group A
Love Mac and Cheese, and this recipe looks so good. I never thought of using cream cheese in the sauce before, hmmm. I always make my grandson Mac and Cheese when we visit, but this time it’ll be even better. I think he’ll like it. I just hope he shares some with his mom and sister. Have you ever seen a teen age boy eat? It’s amazing.
I can see why you chose this recipe. That looks so amazingly creamy and cheesy. Yum!
Great choice! I love how cheesy this version looks. Definitely putting it on my list.
Oh, yum. This looks like ultimate winter comfort food! I’m all in!!
Oh my word that looks good. Creamylicious! Wonderful pick for SRC!
My kids love mac & cheese! I will try this yummy recipe! Thanks for sharing!
