I mentioned in my last post for our Faux Deviled Eggs that I love April Fools Day and all the fun food ideas. Well, here’s another super cute idea. How about making a Chicken Not Pie for dinner for your kids. Did you catch that? Chicken Not Pie. I know, clever right? (Or were you […]
The other day my son said to me “Mom, we should have every Saturday dinner a fun dinner. You know, like the Aliens and race cars that we had.” Bless him. I love that they want to help me in the kitchen and eat fun things. So we decided to make something similar to our […]
Oh, the pressure. My son’s request to make “fun food” every Saturday night for dinner is already getting to me. How do people come up with all these ideas??? Well, however they do it, I’m just grateful they do. That way I can copy them and my kids think I’m amazing =o) Jill over at […]
Normally by now I’ve posted a few Thanksgiving fun food recipes. Apparently I’m a little slow this year. I can’t believe this is our first (and only one!) But it is a fun one. How cute are these little guys? I thought my kids would have a great time making these. I bought all the […]
This might be the last of our Easter treats for this year. But seriously, don’t hold me to that. Sometimes we just bake on a whim so there might be more =o) So guess where I saw this cute idea. Give up? It’s another Family Fun magazine idea. I am totally in love with that […]
I have a little thing about vampires. I was about to write “I’m embarrassed to say” but I’m not. What the heck. I’m obsessed. I said it. Seriously, I am. It all started with the Twilight books and has gone a little out of control since. =o) If you need to know a good book […]
I’ve decided I love my food markers. I mean seriously. Who ever came up with that idea is a genius. Because we’re having so much fun with them. Who wouldn’t love a cup of this hot chocolate in the morning?! My kids thought it was great. They thought I bought the marshmallows like this. […]
My kids and I watch a craft show every Saturday morning called Donna’s Day. Have you heard of it? It’s fantastic. She does crafts and recips and all sorts of great things for you to do with your kids. Some of them are awesome. Some of them are for the more Martha Stewart Mom’s out […]

When you say “maple flavoring” do you mean maple syrup or maple extract…or possibly something else?
thank you,.
My mouth is watering at the thought of the maple frosting. YUM!
I have never tried baking doughnuts..Love the recipe..
I don’t have a donut maker :(((
so I am trying to figure out how to do them in the oven and still have the holes. hmmmmm……
You could put maple frosting on a piece of wood and I’d eat it. :))

Doughnut maker? What will they think of next? These look so good, and the kids look like they had a great time!
