I have a confession to make. You know those little recipe books that you always see in the check out stand? They are usually themed – Halloween, Christmas, cookies, crockpot recipes. You know the ones. I am addicted to them. Yep, I said it out loud. I love them. I love looking through them and […]
Magic banana? Yep, magic banana. Well, magic banana trick maybe. I guess the banana itself isn’t magic. Or maybe it is. Either way, your kids will think you are magic! Are you ready??? Your going to give your kids bananas and say “abracadabra” and then poof – their banana will be already sliced inside the […]

This may not look like much but let me tell you… it is delicious! My kids and I love root beer floats and have seen a lot of homemade popsicles out there that claim to be rootbeer floats, but they are imposters. Thanks to Almost Unschoolers for this amazing find because here is a real […]

Thank you so much for mentioning me! I am so glad your kids had a nice time! The last part made me teary eyed, because I feel exactly the same way!
I saw this on Pinterest and loved it, but haven’t done it for my kids yet. You have motivated me to get out there and get those glow sticks. I wonder how it looks with bubbles too? An idea for next Halloween: How cute would it be to come in after a long night of trick or treating to find a tub full of orange glow sticks??

I actually did this Sunday night with BFF’s little ones, 4 and 20 months, while I was bsitting them- in a bubble bath and they loved it. They had tried it once minus the bubbles, but since the 4 yr old was shy, we added the bubbles for modesty. It was a blast for them!
Found you via link party.
