It’s no secret that I love fun food. I love making it. I love serving it to my kids. It makes me smile. So this was right up my alley. And it’s kind of Halloween-y, right? Kind of?
This recipe came out of the cookbook Simple 1-2-3 Cooking for Kids.
Ingredients:
* Jumbo past shells
* hamburger
* spaghetti sauce
Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package directions. Let them cool so you can work with them.
Cook the hamburger. Drain. Add spaghetti sauce. You want it to be thick so don’t add very much spaghetti sauce.
Fill the shells with meat mixture.
Put in a lightly greased 9 x 13 inch pan and cook for about 5 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Just enough to get them warm again.
Garnish with eyes and teeth. We used cut carrots, a pickle for the tongue and cheese for the teeth.
Totally cute right?
