We’ll be home doing what we normally do. My kids are still relatively young so they do little things for me. Heck, just a hug and a kiss makes my heart full. But The other day my kids did ask me if they could give me a pedicure and a manicure. I was a little nervous at first but figured it’s nothing permanent, right? So why not! If my kids want to paint my nails, have at it.
So I sat back and let them go to work….
My daughter wanted to paint my toes… She changed her mind about the color a couple of times. She would paint them, take it off and paint them again.Have you seen these before? I’m not sure where they were purchased but I got them for Christmas one year and they are so much fun. They are nail polish but they also have a small tipped applicator so you can do designs on your nails. My daughter loves it. We can do polka dots or stripes or whatever design we want.
This was her first masterpiece. Then she decided to change it a little to this… Stunning, right? My son did my fingernails.
I think they are dazzling!
I’ll be the envy of all my co-workers on Monday, don’t you think?
However you spend your Mother’s Day, I hope it’s with those you love doing things that make your heart happy.
Happy Mother’s Day!

You are an amazing mom and for your kids to do this for you is awesome. I’ve told so many of my friends about your blog and how you spend time with your children 🙂

Aahhhh, how special is that! Thank you for a wonderful Mother’s Day, Erin. Bringing me dinner after my first market day was so thoughtful. I appreciate it more than I can tell you. You have some very fancy fingers and toes. I can feel the intense level of concentration going on there.
That is so awesome.. I enjoy coming here so so much! You are really cool at reminding us… it takes so little to make such beautiful beautiful memories…
Happy Happy Mother’s Day!
That is so precious! Makes my heart melt. And what a great mom you are. It takes patience and unselfishness to let them be little like that. I struggle with that aspect and would probably have told them no so I could do it myself. Kudos to you! You taught me something today.
OH What a great heartfelt gift!! They worked very hard. Everytime you look at your fingers and toes it will remind you of how much your children love you and that is priceless. You are amazing. I probably wouldn’t of had the patience and I am really sad about that. Thanks for helping me realize what really is important!! Happy Mother’s Day!!
Wow! How sweet… I love what a great job they’ve done… I am so glad you a wonderful Mother’s day… 🙂
