Like I wrote in our Pumpkin Spice Snowball Cookies post, these delicious cookies are called different names: Mexican Wedding Cookies, Russian Tea Cakes or Snowball Cookies. Regardless of what you call them, they are delicious and a family favorite of ours.
When I saw Dorothy’s post over on Crazy for Crust I about fell over. Why it took so many years for someone to think about dipping these flaky, buttery cookies in chocolate is beyond me. So a huge thank you Dorothy. You’ve changed the look of Snowball Cookies forever.
You make these like you would the traditional Snowball Cookie except don’t roll them in powdered sugar after baking them. Let them cool.
After they have cooled, dip them in melted chocolate and let sit until the chocolate hardens.
Now here’s the really difficult part – don’t eat them all in one day. They are delicious!
Don’t they look pretty? (Pretty? That’s a food appropriate word, right?)
