Now that it’s October I’m ready to get into the Halloween spirit. I just can’t in September. It’s too early. Heck, in September I’m still holding on to summer. But now? Yep, ready.
We made this fun layered drink for the Fourth of July and my kids loved it. It’s easy and a fun thing to serve when neighbor kids are over. (Plus, they will think you’re the coolest and they’ll have no idea how you did this.)
This is what you’ll need:
I saw this over on High Heels & Grills and knew it was going to be a hit with my kids.
Ingredients
- Crushed ice
- 1/3 part Orange Soda
- 1/3 part yellow Gatorade
- 1/3 part zero calorie lemonade Vitamin Water
Instructions
- Fill your glass with crushed ice. Make sure you fill it to the top. This is the key to making the layers work.
- Slowly pour over the crushed ice the Orange Soda until the cup is 1/3 full.
- Slowly pour in the yellow Gatorade
- Very slowly pour in the Vitamin Water
- Add a straw and serve.
Enjoy!
My favorite Halloween candy is candy corn. I think this punch would be a great addition to a Halloween party.
